The Internet is the frame-work of the web and the technical infrastructure that makes the web to work. Internet also can be a network of computers that interact all together. Internet can also be a wire in which connected devices can communicate. A server is a special computer connected directly to the internet.

Internet network strategies
A network consists of two computers communicating/interacting which can linked through wires(Ethernet cable) or wirelessly(Wi-Fi or Bluetooth). In networking, using Ethernet cables is complicated so we can use a special tiny computer called Router which allows message sent from a given computer to reach its destination of another computer. In connecting billions of computers we need several routers connected together in order to scale infinitely, so such a network comes very close to what is called the internet. but we are missing something because also we are made to understand that internet service is really to communicate with rest of the world and not for our own purposes.

Therefore, to meet the goal of internet which is to communicate round the world we use other infrastructure like the telephone which connects you to anyone in the world, to connect our network to the telephone infrastructure a device known as modem is needed which helps to turn our information from our network to information manageable by telephone infrastructure. Moreover, sending of our messages from our network to other network is done through the (ISP i.e internet service provider) which manages the router linked together and can also access other ISPs 'routers. thereby allowing our messages from our network to pass through the network of (ISP )networks to the destination network.

Finding a computer computers linked to a network has a unique address that identifies it, called an (IP address known as internet Protocol) also it can be modified into a human readable name known as Domain which makes it easy to reach a computer over the internet.

The Web commonly known as (WWW), is a hypertext document management system accessed over the internet. The web was invented by Tim Berners-Lee a scientist, in 1986. it was conceived and developed to meet the demands for automated information sharing between scientist in universities and institutes around the world. A web is a subset of internet consisting of the pages that can be accessed by a web browser.

Internet and the web The differences are clear; Internet is the network of connected computers that the web works on as well as what emails and files travel across. Also think of the internet as the roads that connect towns and cities together. while Web are the pages you see when you're at a device and you're online.

Intranets and extranets intranets are private networks used for sharing information throughout the organization. while extranet is a tool used for sharing information between the internal and external members. Also intranet owned by a single organization while extranet is owned by either a single or a many organization. concepts of the internet

web page is a document which can be displayed in a web browser such as Firefox, Google chrome, opera.

website is a collection of web pages which are grouped together and usually connected together in various ways.

web server a computer that hosts a website on the internet.

search engine is a web service that helps you find other web pages such as Google, Bing, Yahoo.
